Yo mods! I was all set to app when I realized I uh, should probably ask this question. Because work ate me alive.

I'm a fan of Trek in all it's shapes, and am interested in apping a character from the Trek books themselves, and was wondering if that was okay. I mostly ask as I know they tend to be side eyed in terms of being canon etc. so I thought it'd be worth asking before getting told no after putting an app in. So would that be cool, or should I find someone else to app?
