The Enterprise is a Galaxy-class Starship that serves not only as a home to many passengers, but as a place where they can work, go to school, and explore new interests and hobbies. Below is a list of employment opportunities, both full-time (Enterprise-based), and freelance/part-time (starbase and planet-based).
Before a character can seek employment, they must be on the Enterprise for at least 30 days. Both civilian and crew positions are offered, though the latter comes with IC vetting to ensure the character has the Enterprise's best interests at heart.
New job creation is welcome and encouraged, and as new positions and employees are added this post will be updated to reflect that. If your character wishes to establish their own business, be that within the Enterprise's massive concourse or on a planet that is in friendly trade with the Federation, fill out the following form in a comment to this post.

Services Offered: The Narumi Detective Agency can solve any request posed to it, from tracking down a missing pet to keeping tabs on a cheating spouse. Given the eccentric (read: monster-related) focus of most of their cases back home, extraterrestrial inquiries won't be a problem for them. Also, they're superheroes. So.

John is a Lieutenant Colonel in his own world. He loves to fly and would do pretty much anything to pilot. He's also got a lot of experience on off world missions with scientists and civilians and would be keen to be part of the teams, either as a leader, or as the protection/muscle.

Wan is very technology illiterate, however, he is eager to learn what he can and will volunteer for anything that lets him go planetside as often as possible. If he has to study and take tests to qualify for something, he definitely will.
As far as skills offered, he's all about peace and compromise when it can be found, so he's up for negotiations/cultural exchange/etc. He's also a very skilled martial artist and can double as security force if needed. And while he never really brings it up in discussion with crewmembers, if anyone asked him directly, he'd tell them that he can control the power of the four elements. Which could come in handy. You never know.
On ship, Wan would be happy to work with non-human species as well as in the hydroponics bay. He's okay with security duty, as well, if he's deemed trustworthy enough to take up those duties.

If she can feel useful growing something for anyone in the sciences division, she'll be happy to do so an at an accelerated rate. She can also talk to plants so she could offer her services, say, if there was some kind of fight with no witnesses, in an area with massive vegetation; she can talk to the plants and ask what happened. The bottom line is that she's going to do everything plant-related she can in order to feel like she's not a waste of oxygen. And Beverly can vouch for her now.

Ideally, I'd like to get Finnick working for an NPC to start off with if that's possible and maybe striking out on his own eventually? Will has a memory like an elephant, and having been a probationary scientific advisor's assistant in UNIT back home, he's researched both science from Earth's 1990s perspective and a variety of alien technology from his universe. He's adept at researching scientific theories, as well as reverse engineering. These technical skills would also, secondarily, make him useful as a technician.

Kristen is an experienced records keeper and archivist as a civilian member of the Gotham City Police Department circa late 2015. She's also a very quick study when it comes to various records keeping formats.
